Austin Farm Primary School has been recognised by Plymouth City Council for its efforts to involve children in school activities.
The popular Eggbuckland school landed the prestigious Plymouth Kitemark for Inclusion Award.
Maggie Carter, assistant director for children's services at Plymouth City Council, presented the award along with a cheque for £100 at a special ceremony in early April.
The award acknowledges efforts made by the school to provide all children a fair and equal chance in all aspects of school life - both academic and extra-curricular.
"This is recognition of all the hard work we've put into helping all our children in everything we do - regardless of their age, gender or ability,” said head teacher Wendy Cording:
"We have very hard-working staff here and we're delighted to be recognised,” she added.
Austin Farm offers a wide range of after-school activities, including a girls' football club, guitar club and breakdancing lessons.
